Most Companies will have some kind of training for their products. Generally this training is for those who sell their products, somewhat specialized.  The training is to keep the standards high for the products that they do sell. Training is short but good. Maybe you can get what you need?

Check out "boots on the roof". Most have the same type of programs.

Here are some links with certification designations. You must investigate everything that you do on the net. Most companies are good. Ask to see if they have placement assistance.

Certificates can be important. It shows that you do have a level of competence.  You can always say that you are certified. If you are in the business, you will need to have certification points.

See the “The Manufacturers List" or "Installers list" in your state. See if you can find a company you like.  Maybe they would train you? This is a growing business and they always need trained people. This in not a job but an adventure.
